Lots of fun and goodwill was had today riding around a very chilly and snowy Todmorden. 6 empowered riders including 2 reindeer two elves and Santa himself braved the winter weather spreading seasonal joy to lots of local people and visitors. Starting out at the main hub, Santa rode his ‘Sleigh Bike’ accompanied by two bike trains piloted by Reindeer and towing empowered helper Elves. Up front the Town cryer of Todmorden was wrapped up warm on the front of the Trishaw ringing her bell to get attention. Quite the Scene!
The route took the group down to Golden Rigs Garden Centre in Walsden, and back to Todmorden round the local supermarkets. Giving out chocolates and collecting donations on the way and finishing up at the Market place where more Empowered elves sheltered under betty the van’s awning serving warm brews and parkin to all who passed by. The Riders arrived back in the dark just in time to support the Christmas tree lights switch on by the Mayor of Todmorden.
